Remember the Toyota FT-86 sports coupe concept revealed in 2009? Of course you do! It was a notable blip against the company's never-ending succession of beige econo-boxes.
Now Toyota has released this here teaser for the second iteration of that cool concept, designed to get your juices flowing ahead of its unveil at the Geneva motor show in March.
The FT-86 II apparently builds on the original - itself a collaboration with Subaru - and gives the clearest indication yet of the final design for Toyota's next sports car'.
Thank heavens, because Toyota desperately needs a fizzy, funky sports coupe to liven up its interesting but mostly dull range. Hands up who remembers the twin-turbo Supra, the Celica GT-4, the MR2...
There's only one pic, but scroll through to remind yourself what the original concept looks like. Then pray it happens.
The original FT-86 was powered by a Subaru 2.0-litre boxer engine and measures up just short of a Lotus Evora, with a 2+2 seat layout. It was promised to be affordable too, to encourage young people to the brand. Young people, what say ye?
